2009 Track Champion Team 17L had a very strong Season at Raceway 7 in the Schwartz Construction, Jr Lumber, Joe’s Carpentry, Shetler Constuction, North East Heating & Cooling, Rescue Service Electric, Penn-Ohio, Finn’s Auto Sales & Service, Lineup Masonry, Lunger’s Painting Signs & Graphics sponsored 17L Picking up 3 Feature wins in route to the ‘09 Track Championship.

Eriez Speedway
Team 17L first full season in SLM lands them a top 10 in points.

Stateline Speedway
What looked like a solid top 10 in points went south with three point nights left on the schedule as bad luck set in losing one car then a motor in the back up car drops the team to 13th in points.

Fastrak
Team 17L did not run Fastrak full time in ‘09 but did pick up a win in a 1,500 to win Touring Race then Traveled Down south for the 30,000 to win Grand Nationals making all three feature finishing 4th Mercer, 20th Bulls Gap and 20th at Wythe Raceway in route to a 17th place finish in Grand National Points. The team had brake problems both nights down south but still ran strong.

2010 Plans
The team will be taking a year off from Crate racing so they can focus on their SLM program. Hope to see everyone in 2010 have a safe winter and happy holidays.
